In the heart of the Minervois region, the village of Tourouzelle is an excellent starting point for discovering an area rich in landscapes and heritage. On foot or by mountain bike, numerous signposted trails start directly from the village and wind their way through vineyards, garrigue and the typical hills of southern Aude. Just a few minutes away, the Canal du Midi, a UNESCO World Heritage site, invites you to take a peaceful stroll by bike or boat. Lake Jouarres, with its nautical base and landscaped beaches, is just 3 km away and offers an ideal setting for swimming and outdoor activities. Further afield, Minerve, a medieval town emblematic of Cathar country, is well worth a visit. Fishing enthusiasts will appreciate the immediate proximity of the Aude, just 500 m away. The beaches of the Mediterranean can be reached in less than 40 minutes, as can the famous medieval city of Carcassonne, a must-see for its heritage and cultural events. This single-storey Holiday cottage is ideal for a comfortable and functional stay. It is organized around a living room with kitchen area, opening onto the terrace in front of the gite. This outdoor space, equipped with a pergola, garden furniture and a gas barbecue, is perfect for convivial meals. The Holiday cottage has a shower room with WC. The bedrooms are arranged as follows: - One bedroom with 1 double bed (140cm) - One bedroom with 2 twin beds (80cm). On the ground floor of the building is the owner's small wine cellar.
The property benefits from good soundproofing, and the owner will be delighted to share his passion for his craft and the local Vineyard with you. An enclosed area is provided in front of the cottage for parking, and electric heating is available at extra cost.
