You're just 10 minutes from the charming village of Saissac and its castle. For nature lovers, the Holiday cottage is surrounded by numerous Hiking trails, as well as mountain bike trails (Base Vtt 5kms away). You'll enjoy a wide range of landscapes: lakes, waterfalls, massifs, meadows... The Holiday cottage's ideal location will also enable you to visit all the must-see treasures of the Aude region: the Cathar castles of Lastours, the book village of Montolieu, the Canal du Midi and the Brousses paper mill.
On site, you'll appreciate the tranquility of the village.
The Holiday cottage is laid out over 2 levels, with large rooms. On the first floor: a large living room with a sitting area featuring a sofa and TV, a dining table, and a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen. A first bedroom with a sofa bed (160cm) and an office area ideal for Telework. Laundry room with washing machine. An independent shower room with shower, washbasin and WC. Upstairs, a second bedroom with a double bed (140cm). An independent bathroom with bath, washbasin and WC. A third bedroom with a 140cm bed, a dressing area and an additional 90cm bed.
From June to September, the open-air swimming pool is shared with the owners and at your disposal from 2pm to 6pm. Further out in the courtyard, an enclosed area with garden furniture and barbecue is available to you for the rest of the day.
Bed linen and towels included. End-of-stay cleaning extra. The Holiday cottage is not suitable for pets. Non-private parking in the street around the Holiday cottage.

Propriétaire accueillante, conforme au descriptif.
5/5Le logement était conforme à nos attentes, spacieux, propre et fonctionnel. Le plus c'est la piscine privative disponible toute l'après midi. Les propriétaires étaient très sympathiques. Dans un petit village reculé, calme et a une vingtaine de minutes seulement de Carcassonne. Très agréable séjours.

5/5The House was very clean and lovely. The house has everything you could possibly need. The beds are very comfortable, their are 2 double beds good size rooms with a extra bed in the main bedroom. A very large bathroom with bath and shower over the bath. Down stairs is another Bedroom/Com Study with a large sofa bed. The house is very nicely furnished. With a large Television. During the summertime you have use of the pool and patio which is lovely.
My only very slight disappointment was that we did not have access to the patio, as the pool was closed, it would have been nice to sit out there and have our drinks.
If you are looking to get away from it all and enjoy peace and quiet with birds singing and sit and look at the views this is the village for you. You do need transport to get supplies.

Le logement est très accueillant et de qualité. Internet fonctionne pour le télétravail.
La propriétaire est disponible pour tout conseil.
Le village est fort sympathique avec sa petite église restaurée.
