Welcome to L'Ensoleillé Holiday cottage for 10 people, ideal for 2 families, brand new, south-facing with no overlooking, with a magnificent kitchen equipped with new appliances.

You'll be staying in the Aude region, in the small village of Trassanel, a mecca for speleology, a 30-minute drive from Carcassonne with its railway station and airport.
6 km away is Villeneuve-Minervois, with its shops, pharmacy, media library, Maison de la Truffe d'Occitanie with its museum and store selling truffle products, and Caveau Lauran Cabaret with a wide range of wines for tasting.
Less than 1 hour's drive away: the Cité de Carcassonne, Minerve, the Canal du Midi for quayside lunches and walks along the towpaths, the Limousis cave, the Gouffre Géant de Cabrespine, the Cathar castles, Caunes-Minervois, a small town full of character, famous for its abbey, marble quarries, narrow streets and rock-climbing site. Other small tourist towns such as Pézenas, Béziers, Narbonne, Mirepoix and Limoux can all be visited in a day.
For hikers, from the Holiday cottage, you can set off on a number of trails, including the GR36 and the Truffle Trail, and discover the wilderness of the Mountain Noire.
For summer days, supervised swimming at the Pradelles-Cabardès or Laprade lakes (30 mins), at the "Les Bains de Minerve" swimming pool in Peyriac-Minervois (20 mins) or at the Mediterranean Sea 75 km away.
On the first floor, the Holiday cottage comprises a fully-equipped kitchen opening onto a terrace, a living room with TV, and a toilet (south-facing terrace, ideal for relaxing or enjoying meals in peace and quiet).
