Montgaillard is a charming village in the Aude department, which will win you over with its authenticity and natural setting. Nestled in the heart of Cathar country, it offers exceptional panoramic views of the Corbières. Nearby, discover Cathar castles such as Peyrepertuse and Quéribus, perched on the ridges. Hiking enthusiasts will love the marked trails through garrigue, vineyards and Forest.
The wine region offers tastings of Corbières and Minervois, powerful, sunny wines. Montgaillard is also a Mecca for Occitan gastronomy: cassoulet, artisanal charcuterie and goat's cheese. The local Markets are bursting with local produce.
A few kilometers away, Limoux invites you to savour its famous Blanquette. The nearby Gorges de Galamus offer an impressive natural spectacle, with their sheer cliffs and hermitage nestling in the rock.

2nd floor: 1 bedroom (3 single beds). 2 bicycles available.

Nicole Belle fête de fin d'année
Nous avons passé une très belle fête de fin d'année en famille (nous étions 9 adultes) dans ce gîte authentique au coeur d'un tout petit village perché au milieu des vignes.
Atmosphère campagnarde et chaleureuse avec une belle cheminée et des murs en vieilles pierres.
Rien ne manque, tout y est très bien agencé et fonctionnel. Propreté remarquable.
Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et disponibles près du gîte.
Bien placé pour visiter les sites cathares principaux.
Nous sommes ravis d'avoir découvert cette belle région avec ces lieux d'histoire exceptionnels sous le soleil des Corbières.- Cleanliness

Claire Super séjour !
Super gîte dans un très beau village, paisible, avec une très belle vue. La maison est bien équipée, nous étions trois couples + trois enfants, nous étions bien à l'aise dans ce gîte qui offre de beaux espaces.

Ofab Superbe gite avec absolument tout le nécessaire et bien plus, propreté et confort au top. Terrasse avec une magnifique vue et on ne peut plus au calme...mais comment ne pas parler de l acceuil...si, pour mieux en préserver l agreable surprise!
