Le Tilleul du Prieuré

In the heart of the Minervois region, Le Tilleul du Prieuré is a Holiday cottage set amidst vineyards. Before the French Revolution, this estate was a priory.

You'll discover a place steeped in history, a building dating back to 1782. The owners have preserved the exposed stone vaulting and pink Caunes-Minervois marble kitchen credenza to combine modern comforts with the essentials.

Once you leave the Holiday cottage, you can take a walk along the 18th-century "capitelles" circuit to discover the wine-growing area, a Visigoth cemetery and its church.

The Cité de Carcassonne 15km away, the Cathar castles, the magnificent landscapes of the Mountain Noire and its lakes for Swimming, the Abbey of Caunes-Minervois, the marble factory or the Gouffre Géant de Cabrespine will fill you with wonder, all within 30 minutes of the Holiday cottage.
The Mediterranean, 50km away, offers swimming and seafood tasting.

The heart of the village of Laure-Minervois with its shops is 2 minutes away. Nearby wineries welcome you to visit and taste the region's wines and spirits.
For cycling enthusiasts, we offer mountain bike rentals for thrills and electric bikes for more bucolic rides along the Canal du Midi. These rentals are made in partnership with a professional.

You'll have a private garden where you can enjoy your meals outside, either under the Midi sun or under the big lime tree. It is equipped with a lounge, deckchairs and dining table. The garden is a veritable haven of peace, with access just by crossing the little alleyway, which has very little traffic. Private parking in front of the house.

Holiday cottage adjoining the owners' house but with independent access via the courtyard, it is located on the 1st floor with access via spiral staircases. It is equipped with
- A living room with a sitting area: sofa, TV, CD-radio, reversible air-conditioning, with a fully-equipped open kitchen and dining table. A small storage area adjoins.
