Situated in the charming village of Villeneuve-Minervois, 20 minutes from the Cité de Carcassonne, in the heart of the truffle country of the Pays Cathare, in an old barn that has been completely renovated. The gîte opens onto a quiet lane and the river. At the rear, a walled patio provides an open-air place to relax.

Shops and restaurants in the village. Lively, friendly markets, winegrowers, cellars and winemakers... where you can sample some excellent Minervois vintages. Numerous walks in the area: Clamoux gorges, Lastours châteaux, Limousis caves, Cabrespine giant chasm, etc. Lake with supervised swimming 15 km away, watersports centre 10 km away.
The gîte is on 2 levels, accessed via a quiet lane. Ground floor: a very large, enclosed garage providing parking for 2 vehicles and storage for equipment (bicycles, etc.). First floor: a pleasant living room with dining area and fitted kitchen area, 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds, a shower room with Italian shower, separate toilet. Patio with plancha.

    Gîte confortable , bien équipé.Nous avons apprécié la tranquillité des lieux ainsi que les animations.La situation du gîte nous a permis de découvrir la région en maximisant nos déplacements.Le séjour à Villeneuve a été en tous points dépaysant et relaxant.Merci pour l’accueil.
