Le Petit Mas de l'écluse

The Mas de l'Ecluse is ideally located on the banks of the Canal du Midi, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a jewel in the region's crown.

Surrounded by vineyards and nature, you'll be able to enjoy beautiful walks or bike rides to the gates of Carcassonne, along Riquet's masterpiece! The famous Cité Médiévale is also within easy reach of the Holiday cottage (15 minutes by car). From the Holiday cottage, you can explore the cultural and gastronomic riches of the Aude department, including the Cathar castles of Saissac and Lastours, the book village of Montolieu and the abbeys of Saint-Papoul and Saint-Hilaire.


On site, you'll enjoy a private environment, a covered terrace with garden furniture for your long evenings, a terrace in front of the door with a private swimming pool (9 x 3.50 m depth 1.50m, ecological salt treatment, secured by a submerged roller shutter). Swimming is possible from mid-May to late autumn thanks to the water-heating system. Lighted petanque court, sun loungers, chiliennes, garden sofa, barbecue/plancha area.


The Vineyard owners offer a Vineyard and Discovery® workshop with tastings of local wines. Massage services on request. Home chef on request. The Holiday cottage has a secure bicycle garage. Bicycles can be rented from nearby professionals in Carcassonne. On-site electric vehicle recharging service (7.3 KW private recharging station) in addition to rental charge.

The Holiday cottage comprises, on the ground floor:

2nd floor:

_2 bedrooms (1 bed 160 and 2 beds 90) each with en-suite shower room (only 1 is available for rental), separate WC on the same landing.
