Le Petit Gîte du Tatou

Welcome to Gîte du Tatou! Situated in the heart of the Aude Pyrenees, on the Sault plateau, in a small hamlet near the village of Roquefeuil, a land of gastronomy, livestock farming and magnificent landscapes.

Thanks to its location, you'll be close to a host of tourist attractions, including the mountain and ski resorts of Camurac and Ax-Les-Thermal bath, the Cathar castles of Montségur and Puivert, the Aude Gorges and Lake Montbel and Belcaire, where you can take a dip in summer.

It's an attractive destination for enjoying the peace and quiet of nature, with numerous Hiking trails such as the Sentier Cathare, which passes through Espezel, or the Sentier Nature and the Labyrinthe Vert. For cycling enthusiasts, there are numerous routes, including those of the Tour de France. You'll love the panoramic views of this rich territory, so get away from it all during your stay at Roquefeuil.

A few kilometers away in the villages, you'll find all the shops you need (grocery store, bakery, butcher's shop, pharmacy and restaurants where you can sample the local cuisine).
