Le Palana

Between Land and Sea, in the Corbières Maritimes, in the heart of the typical village of Roquefort-des-Corbières, discover the gîte Le Palana. This little nest for two welcomes you for a unique stay where you can be at the same time calm, enjoy the rest but also discover at the same time mountainous landscapes while being close to the beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean (15 minutes by car). Its location is ideal for discovering and visiting the most important places in the Aude region: the Narbonnaise Regional Natural Park, the cliffs of Leucate, the salt marshes of La Palme, the wild beaches between Port-la-Nouvelle and Leucate, Narbonne la Romaine and the Cathar castles at the top of the Corbières. The village has many shops and attractions (grocery shop, restaurant, bakery, tennis courts, bus line, entertainment during the summer season). The place is also known for its local terroir to discover: wine. If you like hiking, you will be able to enjoy the magnificent landscapes of the surroundings and a view of the sea from the Chapelle Saint-Martin, and there are also beautiful walks to do by bike. On site, the gîte has a large enclosed outdoor space with a private terrace equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue to enjoy moments of conviviality. The house is located in a very quiet area where you can only hear the birds and cicadas singing.

From the terrace, the gîte opens onto a master suite with a double bed, storage cupboards and an adjoining shower room with shower, washbasin and WC. The bedroom gives access to the living room with a sofa bed (for 2 extra people) and connected TV, a dining table and a fully equipped kitchen. WIFI connection. Bed linen, towels and end of stay cleaning included. Baby equipment on request. Pets are allowed. Parking is available in front of the gîte or along the avenue. Barbecuing is only allowed with the agreement of the public authorities due to the drought.
