Leucate is the ideal place for a beach vacation with the family or as a couple, where you'll discover breathtaking natural landscapes, between cliffs, ponds, creeks and plateaus. Leucate is also home to the world's wind and the ideal spot for a windsurfing, kitesurfing, paddling or sand yachting session! On site, you'll enjoy long cliff walks with views of the Mediterranean Sea and its fine sandy beaches, the Pyrénées Orientales and the Canigou, as well as unspoilt, varied nature. From the gîte, it's a 20-minute walk to the beaches, a 7-minute ride via the cycle path at the entrance to the street, a 4-minute drive with free parking on arrival, and a 5-minute walk to the shops. Just 4 kilometers away, you can sample the oysters of the Etang de Leucate and enjoy the local gastronomy. Leucate is less than an hour from France's most famous historic sites: the Cité de Carcassonne, Collioure and Narbonne la Romaine. You can also enjoy a trip on the lake thanks to the inflatable paddle that the owners put at your disposal.
On site, the gîte includes a private enclosed parking area and a garage. Ground floor: 3 large bedrooms (2 x 160cm beds and 2 x 80cm beds that can be twinned to form a 160cm double), bathroom with shower and bath, separate WC. The bedrooms open onto the enclosed, private garden at the rear of the house. Garden and terrace with summer kitchen equipped with plancha, bench with coffee table ideal for relaxing and enjoying an aperitif in the shade of the plane trees, private above-ground swimming pool (3 x 3 m, depth 1.20 m). Upstairs, office area, separate toilet, living room/kitchen (filter and senseo coffee maker), opening onto a terrace with garden furniture, ideal for lunch and enjoying panoramic views of the pond and sea. Housekeeping optional. Air-conditioned house

5/5Le logement était très agréable avec un bon accès à la mer et à différents restaurants. L'endroit est proche de la frontière espagnole. De nombreuses villes différentes se trouvent également à proximité pour des excursions, ce qui fait de ce logement un très bon lieu de vacances avec du charme. De plus, le logement était très propre et les propriétaires très sympathiques.

5/5La maison est très agréable et très bien située dans le charmant village de Leucate. La terrasse pour déjeuner a un point de vue sur étang et mer à contempler avant de se rafraîchir dans la piscine. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et sympathiques. Une destination à choisir sans hésiter.

5/5Avons été accueilli très chaleureusement par nos hôtes Katia et Pierre, avec petit cadeau de bienvenue. Ce sont des personnes disponibles qui nous ont donné de très bons conseils et bonnes adresses (restaurants, sites à visiter, plages, etc...) Maison magnifique ! tout le confort possible avec à la clef une piscine. Encore merci à vous pour ces vacances inoubliables ! Nous ne manquerons pas certainement de revenir.

5/5Superbe acceuil de Katia et Pierre qui sont adorables. La maison est parfaite avec une magnifique vue mer pas loin du centre historique du village de Leucate. Maison très propre, très bien équipée et décorée avec beaucoup de gout.
