Le Grenier Occitan is a beautiful guest house located in a village where you can relax and unwind during your stay. This character property is part of the former outbuildings of the Château de Gramazie. It's a place steeped in history, built at the end of the 15th century on the ruins of a 9th-century abbey, of which a few remains remain.

You'll love its location, in the Limoux-Carcassonne-Castelnaudary triangle. The Cité de Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi, the cultural heritage of Limoux and the world capital of Cassoulet, Castelnaudary, are all must-sees. Just like the Cathar castles, or the natural landscapes of our magnificent département. Mirepoix in Ariège is also nearby.
The house has a large outdoor area, with a fenced-in terrace at the front with garden furniture where breakfast can be served. At the rear, a second terrace with garden furniture gives direct access to the park, where you can enjoy a stroll in this magnificent wooded setting. A petanque court is also at your disposal for convivial moments. Private parking is available in front of the guesthouse. Electrically-assisted bicycles are available for hire, so you can enjoy a pleasant ride in the region, with the "voie verte" just a few hundred meters from the house.
The owners also offer a table d'hôte dinner (extra charge), booked in advance, with meals that change with the seasons and the chef's inspiration, but always using fresh, local produce and adapting to your preferences - everything is home-made! Including an optional picnic basket for lunch.
Inside, a breakfast room is at your disposal when the weather's not cooperating. A communal lounge is available on the ground floor, with sofas, TV and table soccer, as well as board games, books and comics. The house has 5 bedrooms with reversible air-conditioning: on the second floor: 2 superior bedrooms, on the 2nd floor a 2-bedroom suite and 2 standard bedrooms.
Sports and leisure facilities on site. Inside: table soccer and board games. Outside: pétanque court, ping-pong table.

The Glycine Room is located on the second floor of the house, and features a 160x200cm bed, TV, tea and coffee-making facilities, a desk with a nearby power outlet, and towels, as well as soap, shower gel, shampoo and a hairdryer. They also feature special touches to make your stay even more comfortable: an ultra-quiet fan controlled by remote control, a private mini-refrigerator to keep your drinks cool, and a terry-cloth bathrobe on request. Reversible air conditioning. WIFI connection. Breakfast included.

Kim & Damiano Nous avons choisi de passer une nuit au Grenier Occitan sur la route de nos vacances avec notre bébé et nous avons été plus qu'agréablement surpris par ce magnifique lieu et surtout par l'accueil et la gentillesse des propriétaires qui ont tout fait pour nous faire sentir comme chez nous. Sur la route du retour nous avons décidé d'y passer de nouveau une nuit et de profiter de la table d'hôte ce qui nous a permis de partager un agréable moment d'échange autour d'une délicieuse planche composée de produis locaux. Nous reviendrons et nous recommandons fortement ce gîte.
