Located in Ventenac-Cabardès, in the Carcassonnais region, the Holiday cottage du Saladou is ideally situated for discovering the tourist and heritage riches of the Aude region. Just a few kilometers away, the medieval city of Carcassonne, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a must-see. Lovers of culture and heritage can also stroll through Montolieu, the village of books, discover the village of Aragon or discover the landscapes and winemaking expertise of the Cabardès. Further north, the Mountain Noire offers nature lovers the chance to explore lakes, caves and forests, while Moussoulens is renowned for its gourmet truffle gatherings. Completely self-contained, with no need to live next door to the owners, this single-storey house has a modern, Countryside feel, in a tranquil setting ideal for both relaxation and Telework. All on one level, it is organized around a pleasant living room of around 45 m2, combining an open-plan kitchen and a convivial lounge area. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and espresso and Nespresso coffee makers. It communicates with a summer kitchen where the washing machine is located. A separate toilet completes the space. The air-conditioned living room offers optimum comfort in all seasons. The private outdoor swimming pool, measuring 6 x 4 m and 1.40 m deep, is accessible from May to the end of September and is secured by a bar cover.
