Ideally located close to the famous Royal Fortresses of Languedoc (Quéribus, Peyrepertuse...), the Holiday cottage is an ideal base from which to discover the region's natural and historical treasures: the abbeys of Fontfroide and Lagrasse - the latter classified as one of France's most beautiful villages.
Lovers of heritage and discovery will be delighted by the Château de Villerouges-Termenès, Terra Vinea in Portel-des-Corbières, the Sigean African reserve and the Museums of Narbonne. The beaches of the Mediterranean are also within easy reach, as are the medieval city of Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi, the port of La Nouvelle and the island of Sainte-Lucie.
Holiday cottage with Wellbeing and leisure facilities:
The Holiday cottage has a large private swimming pool (13 x 6 m, 1.20 to 2 m deep), secured by fence and roller shutter, heated according to the weather (temperature over 25 degrees). The terrace leads to an air-conditioned pool-house with a 6-person spa, garden furniture, a shower room with WC, and a fitness room overlooking the pool (professional equipment). For younger guests, an outdoor Cabin and various games are available, as well as a ping-pong table.

A large living room with fully-equipped kitchen and fireplace, opening onto a south-facing terrace with garden furniture, awning, pergola and plancha.
3 bedrooms with 160x200 beds.
1 bedroom with adjustable 80x200 beds.
A mezzanine with 2 90x200 beds, private shower room and WC.
2 additional shower rooms with WC.
Laundry room with washing machine and dryer.
A branded but still lively territory: Following the fire in the summer of 2025, the landscape around Jonquières still bears the marks of this event. However, the Corbières still retains its charm and rich heritage, offering visitors an authentic experience full of discovery.

Sofie T. Fantastic place and surroundings
We had a fantastic vacation with our friends, and everything was wonderful. The owner, who welcomed us was delightful, and really wanted to tell a lot about the house and places to see. Every day the pool was cleaned and ready for us to use.
The house had everything we could wish for, and the pool area were perfect for the kids to play in.
The view from the house and the surroundings was authentic and relaxing.
We are all very happy with our stay, and will without no doubt recommend it, and we did all agree, that we would come back again.

D&W Wunderbar ruhig gelegene Gite
Wer ein herrlich ruhig gelegenes Ferienhaus in wunderschöner Landschaft sucht,ist hier richtig. Wenn man Einkäufe gut plant, kann man Tage auf dem großen Gelände verbringen, ohne etwas zu vermissen. Allerdings locken die vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region, die man in relativ kurzer Zeit erreichen kann.

CG Très beau gîte
Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans ce gîte spacieux et très bien aménagé. Il ne manque rien. Les lits étaient faits à notre arrivée et les essuies de bain étaient plus que suffisants. Le propriétaire est discret mais à l'écoute. Notre petit fils s'est bien amusé dans la petite cabane.

Alexandra F. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour au gîte du rocher.
Les propriétaires sont sympathiques, discrets et arrangeants.
Concernant l'intérieur: la pièce de vie est grande, les canapés sont très confortables, grand écran plat, la cheminée est agréable. La cuisine est très bien équipée avec des appareils de qualité. Les chambres sont toutes équipées de rangements et d'une télévision (seulement netflix disponible), les matelas sont très confortables. Les trois salles d'eau sont amplement suffisantes pour la capacité du gîte. Les wc sont dans les salles d'eau mais cela ne nous a pas dérangés.
Pour les familles avec enfants en bas âge, il y a beaucoup d'équipement à disposition (chaise haute, baignoire, matelas à langer), des jeux et livres pour tous les âges.
Le logement était très propre, les draps et serviettes sont d'excellente qualité (trois par personne pour la toilette et la piscine).
Concernant les extérieurs : parking privé permettant de garer plusieurs voitures, cour gravillonnée avec plantations très bien entretenues, petit espace avec herbe, un chenil, une cuisine d'extérieur avec coin repas, et un grand espace d'activités comprenant une piscine, une salle de sports (deux équipements professionnels, ballon, tapis de yoga), une pièce avec spa et salon de jardin, avec barrière sécurisant l'ensemble impossible à ouvrir pour les enfants de moins de 3 ans.
Le gîte est à moins de 30 min de nombreux sites et activités (caves, villages pittoresques, lieux touristiques), et pour les amoureux de nature il y a un chemin de randonnée qui passe juste devant.
Le seul point à soulever est l'absence de commerce de proximité, le petit village est vraiment isolé mais en prévoyant bien cela ne pose pas de problème.
En résumé nous avons passé une super semaine dans un gîte très bien équipé et très propre, avec une vue splendide, et des propriétaires très accueillants, encore merci. Nous changeons régulièrement de lieu de vacances mais si nous passons de nouveau dans la régio- Cleanliness

Julia Brown Staying in Gite du Rocher was a unique experience. The area was very interesting, dry, arid and mountainous countryside with gorges, lots of vineyards and olive groves, producing wine, olive oil and tapenade. The views from the gym, swimming pool and jacuzzi made it possible to view the Black Mountain whilst working out or relaxing and glorious sunsets were seen in the evening. The gite is well presented and is set up to house 10 people comfortably, although there were only 2 of us and our dog. Therefore we had plenty of room as well as great facilities. Nearby towns and villages worth a visit are Narbonne, Beziers, Nimes and Lagrasse. There is a mountain path from the gate of the gite, for walking the dog or running. Also, Nathalie and David were excellent hosts.
