In the heart of the island of Saint Lucia, nestled between the sea and the lagoons, where the wind shapes the landscape and time seems to stand still, this new holiday cottage welcomes you for an experience that is both simple… and deeply precious.
Accessible only on foot or by bike, far from the hustle and bustle of modern life, you enter a preserved world within the unique natural reserve of the Narbonnaise Regional Nature Park.

Designed to accommodate 4 to 6 people, the holiday cottage combines understated comfort with authenticity. Here, there is nothing superfluous: the essentials lie elsewhere. In the morning light on the ponds, in the birdsong, in the conversations that stretch into the night. The walls, steeped in history—a former monastic estate that became first a farm and then a hunting lodge—tell the story of this place in their own way.

Holiday cottage located on the 1st floor:
Living room: 140x190cm sofa bed with open-concept kitchen (pod coffee maker, kettle, fridge, wood-burning stove [fuel provided], microwave/oven combo).
Separate bathroom (shower).

From the Port-la-Nouvelle lock parking lot: 10 minutes by bike, 45 minutes on foot. From the Mandirac parking lot: about 40 minutes by bike, 3 hours on foot. Access by kayak from the Canal de la Robine and Gruissan. (No direct access by car!)
The price of the stay includes dinner and breakfast for 4 people. €60 per additional person (5th and 6th person).

You’re passing through on EuroVelo 8: one of the major cycling routes, connecting Spain to Greece. The Sainte Lucie refuge is a “bike-friendly” site. The bike storage room is equipped with tools and electrical outlets for charging e-bikes… (subject to battery availability).
If you’re hiking, you can tackle the Golfe Antique trail in 3 days (70 km) or start the GR 367, the legendary Cathar trail—a 250-km route from the beaches of the Mediterranean to the Pyrenees. A journey through lagoons, scrubland, and rocky ridges, discovering the royal fortresses of Languedoc!
You can explore the island on foot (2 trails: 3 km or 7 km), swim nearby since the Sea is just a short distance away, or go fishing if you’d like…
And for birdwatchers, the Narbonnaise Regional Nature Park is a major migration hotspot.
