Le Gîte du Prel

Stay in the heart of the Aude Pyrenees in a quiet, warm village house, ideal for enjoying the mountains, nature activities and the four-season resort of Camurac.

Located in Mazuby, a small village nestled in the heart of the Aude Pyrenees, the Holiday cottage du Prel is an ideal base from which to discover an authentic mountain region, where unspoilt nature, outdoor activities and a remarkable heritage come together. The four-season resort of Camurac and the open countryside between the Aude, Ariège and Pyrénées-Orientales are just a few minutes away. Nearby Axat is renowned for its white-water sports, while the surrounding trails invite you to explore the ridges, forests and picturesque villages that give this valley its identity.
The first floor features an open-plan kitchen with fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, kettle and Nespresso coffee maker. You can enjoy the wood-burning stove on winter evenings, with the first basket offered and then charged at €10 per basket. This level also includes a shower room with toilet and washing machine, as well as a WC.
Upstairs, a second living room welcomes you for relaxing moments with TV and board games. The three bedrooms, located on the same level, can accommodate up to 6 people in a calm, mountain atmosphere:
- Bedroom 1: 1 bed 140×190 (10 m²)
- Bedroom 2: 1 bed 160×200 (11 m²)
- Bedroom 3: 2 beds 90×190 (9 m²)
Outside, you have access to a shared enclosed garden, located 10 meters from the house on the other side of the cul-de-sac, equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue. The owner occasionally helps with the upkeep of the vegetable garden, which you are free to use according to the season. Parking is easy in the private parking lot opposite the Holiday cottage. Utilities included for a carefree stay.
