The Cité de Carcassonne is 30 minutes away, Castelnaudary (world capital of Cassoulet), Limoux, famous for its Blanquette, is 20 minutes away, the Haute Vallée de l'Aude, with its white-water sports activities, the castles of the Pays Cathare, etc., not forgetting the lakes (Chalabre and Puivert) where you can cool off in summer. From your Holiday cottage, you'll be able to take direct access to the "voie verte" (greenway), which leads to the wild, rolling Countryside of the Malepère. Bicycle hire is available right next door. The village is well-stocked with shops, Pharmacy and Restaurant.
