On the outskirts of a village, in a natural environment, the Holiday cottage will seduce you with its quiet location, yet close to all amenities. Villemoustaussou is a village on the outskirts of Carcassonne, with a wide range of services including grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacy and food shops.
Its location gives easy access to the region's tourist attractions, while enjoying the peace and quiet of the surrounding area. Less than half an hour from the Holiday cottage, you can discover all the region's jewels: the Canal du Midi, the typical Minervois villages, the magnificent landscapes of the Mountain Noire, the castles of the Cathar sites of Lastours and Saissac or the Lake de la Cavayère. All around Villemoustaussou, you can enjoy beautiful walks and bike rides. The Cité de Carcassonne is 15 minutes away.
If you're in the mood for relaxation, from May to the end of September you'll be able to take advantage of the private Spa on the terrace. The private swimming pool (11x5 m, depth 1 to 2 m) is next to the pool-house, where you can enjoy summer evenings with a barbecue. A tennis court is also available on the property.

Wisi Really nice en enjoyable house
We've had a great time at the house; it's near Carcassonne (only 15 minutes drive), close to supermarkets, boulangerie, canal du midi etc.
Toulouse and the beach are a little over an hour away, good to drive. The lake Cavayere is only 20 minutes drive and nice to swim in, or to walk or bike around the lake.
The house is very clean, the owners very nice and helpfull. We had a problem with one of the beds and they fixed it very well.
The swimmingpool is nice and deep, so the kids could dive in it! The Tenniscourt was great as well! Really Super!
The only thing we missed was the jacuzzi, which should have been there according to the website and pictures.
But besides that it is a great place to stay, with really nice people.
The wine and bread at arrival made us feel very welcome by the owners!!

Thank for your stay with us! The jacuzzi is opened in season since middle of may around, it depends on years and temperatures. I'm sorry with the problem with the bed, i tried to repair as quickly as is possible. I will be happy to welcome you anither time perhaps when temperatures permit to open the jacuzzi .

FRANK The mother of the host took care of us and she is verry nice. It is a complete holiday address with swimming pool, tennis court and a large garden. We really recommend this place.
Take care, there is only a shower in the bath without a curtain.

HP L'accueil par Édith et sa maman était chaleureux et bienveillant.
La piscine super, grande, et très belle avec sa mosaïque bleue
L'emplacement du gîte est idéal, à proximité de la cité médiévale de Carcassonne et des circuits de visites.
Un bémol : la baignoire très étroite dans la salle de bain et sans rideauou pare-douche. À titre personnel, j'aurais préféré une douche pour me sentir plus à l'aise.- Cleanliness
