Located halfway between Carcassonne and Narbonne, this is the ideal starting point for exploring the treasures of the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean… and discovering the Aude, the Cathar region.
This charming holiday cottage, housed in an 18th-century winemaker’s home, welcomes you near the banks of the Orbieu, a small river in the Corbières region, in a village offering all the necessary shops and services. The house has retained the charm of its original features—the staircase, authentic terracotta tiles, a pink marble fireplace, wooden beams, and lime-washed walls—while adding a few modern comforts, notably air conditioning in the bedrooms.
The ground floor features a large, sunny 30-square-meter patio equipped with outdoor furniture and a gas griddle, an entryway leading directly to a living room with an open kitchen, a living room with a TV, and a separate restroom. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms (with two single beds and one double bed), a bathroom with a toilet, a walk-in closet, and a balcony.
A private garage is reserved for the holiday cottage.

During our journey through France, we discovered this charming accommodation almost by chance through a last-minute booking, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable stays of our trip.
The house was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. The kitchen, bathroom, laundry facilities, and living areas were all well equipped, making it easy to feel at home from the moment we arrived. The peaceful village setting provided the perfect opportunity to slow down and recharge after many days on the road.
What truly made this stay special, however, was the host. Her warm welcome, kindness, and genuine care created an atmosphere that cannot be measured simply by the quality of the accommodation itself. We felt sincerely looked after throughout our stay, and words of thanks alone hardly seem sufficient to express our gratitude for her hospitality.
We especially enjoyed the quiet courtyard, where we could relax and enjoy the calm surroundings after each day's travels.
Overall, this was not simply accommodation, but a memorable chapter of our journey through France. We leave with wonderful memories and sincere gratitude for the host's exceptional hospitality.

Josiane 22 Gîte patrimoniale
Gîte qui remonte à 1788 ,avec tout le confort moderne ,y compris la climatisation. Il une petit cour ombragée et un garage contigu à la maison.
Les propriétaires ont pris le temps de partager leur passion pour le patrimoine de leur département et de nous indiquer les bons plans pour notre séjour.
Nombreux petits cadeaux d'accueil.
Bien placé entre Narbonne et Carcassonne et pour découvrir les forteresses vertiges.

Muy buena experiencia, fuimos una familia de 3 y dos perritos y todo genial, casa antigua pero espaciosa y muy bien conservada y renovada, con almacén para guardar el coche por la noche. Muy contentos por todo en general.
