Nestled in a wing of this private mansion, this spacious 100 m² duplex apartment offers you an unforgettable stay in the heart of the Bastide Saint Louis.
Ideally located for an authentic voyage of discovery, close to the lively pedestrianized center of the City, you'll experience the Carcassonnais way of life. Right in the heart of the City, just a stone's throw from the remarkable covered Market and Place Carnot, with its cafés, restaurants and thrice-weekly local produce market. Cathédrale Saint-Michel is just around the corner. The Canal du Midi is just a few minutes' walk away. Here you can rent bicycles or take a canal cruise. As you walk down the street to the old bridge, you'll have a magnificent view of the turrets and ramparts of the medieval Cité. Stroll through the citadel and its medieval streets.
Carcassonne is also a central and easy starting point for many visits to the Pays Cathare region: Cathar castles, caves and lakes in the Mountain Noire or the book village at Montolieu, wilderness walks in the Corbières, not forgetting the Mediterranean beaches just a short drive away.

Spacious, comfortable, clean and stylish apartment.
Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, coffee machine and cooking equipment .
Situated less than a 5 min walk to restaurants and cafes in Place Carnot. Boulangerie and Les Halles (food market) just opposite with supermarkets no more than a 5 minute walk.

Didier Un grand appartement bien situé
L'appartement est grand, situé en plein centre ville, à 800 m de la gare (et donc du canal du midi) et à peu près à 1 km de la cité. Bien qu'en centre ville, l'appartement n'est pas bruyant. La literie est confortable et la cuisine bien équipée. A noter que l'appartement est au 1er étage et qu'il comporte lui même un étage où sont les chambres.
Il est proche des Halles (malheureusement marché peu fourni à la période où j'y étais), de deux supérettes (dont une ouverte le dimanche) et de pas mal de restaurants. Donc un point de départ idéal si on vient en train.- Cleanliness

ESCURE L'appartement est très bien situé : pas trop loin de la gare, proche des commerces et pas trop loin de la cité médiévale.
L'appartement offre de grande surfaces de pièces, l'ameublement et la literie sont de bonne qualité. L'équipement est suffisant.

Emmanuelle M Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille dans ce magnifique gîte! Nos hôtes ont été charmants et de bons conseils. Le gîte est d'une qualité exceptionnelle. Décoré avec beaucoup de goûts, vous retrouverez tout le confort moderne avec le charme de l'ancien. L'emplacement est parfait: vous êtes à 10 min à pieds de la cité médiévale et en plein coeur de la bastide Saint Louis. Je recommande vivement!
