Nestled on the banks of the River Aude, the house offers a pleasant coolness, particularly welcome after days of intense summer exploration. Immersed in the heart of the Pays de la Haute Vallée de l'Aude, an area ideal for vacations focused on discovering the environment, gastronomy and rich heritage of the Pays Cathare, the heights of the village reveal majestic panoramas of mountains as far as the eye can see.
There's plenty to do on site, from short, picturesque hikes to fishing along the river. An accompanying guide is available for those wishing to explore the surrounding area in greater depth. The charming cities of Quillan and Limoux are 5 and 20 minutes away respectively, while the famous Carcassonne is an hour's drive away. Just 3 kilometers away, a nautical and leisure base offers a refreshing alternative.
The Holiday cottage is on the first floor of the owners' house, with a single step up to the shower room. A 50 m² courtyard terrace, overlooking the river, is equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue for convivial outdoor moments. Inside, the Holiday cottage comprises a living room/kitchen with sleeping facilities, a bedroom with a double bed (180cm) that can be separated into 2 single beds (90cm), and a single bed (90cm), as well as a bathroom with toilet. Owners with four-legged friends will be delighted to know that dogs are welcome, as long as they don't share the beds.
