The château overlooks the private park, with its private swimming pool (12x4, depth 1.50m, secured by a roller shutter), pool-house and fully-equipped summer kitchen, open from mid-April to mid-October. In the grounds, you'll find a pétanque court and table soccer in the peristyle. Wine-lovers can share the owners' passion for wine and taste the estate's organic produce in the cellar. The château is the starting point for numerous visits, including the Cité de Carcassonne, Castelnaudary and the grand bassin on the Canal du Midi, Limoux and its blanquette, white-water sports in the upper Aude valley, and the first Cathar castles (Arques, Puivert, Puylaurens, etc.).
On the ground floor: a large peristyle for breakfast overlooking the park, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen with dining area and cross-cutting fireplace. Upstairs: 8 bedrooms, each with a 160/200 bed, including 5 with private shower rooms. A separate shower room on the landing and 2 separate toilets. Outside, pool-house with summer kitchen, relaxation area and dining area, shower room and separate toilet.

Séjour très agréable dans un beau cadre : pièces de vie spacieuses, bien décorées et très bien équipées
Cependant en matière de vaisselle, nous aurions été plus à l'aise avec une vaisselle moins précieuse par crainte de maladresse!
Excellent contact avec la propriétaire
Pour la note globale nous mettons 4 en l'absence d'une case à 4,5

Gui Un Château dans les vignes
Accueil et échanges avec la propriétaire parfaits.
Le château est parfaitement approprié à des séjours entre amis . Vastes pièces , 9 chambres spacieuses pour la plupart équipées de salles d’eau ou de toilettes .
Salon , cuisine , péristyle très agréables.Une mention particulière pour l’espace pool house propice aux dîners ou déjeuners extérieurs .
Parc …
Multiples activités détentes proposées: baby foot , pétanque , piscine …
Possibilité balades dans les vignes , rando , VTT , running …. Et possibilité de goûter ou commander des vin à à la cave du château.

Le château Guilhem est un lieu très agréable et bien adapté au séjours entre amis.
La cuisine d’été est très bien équipée et contribue énormément à la convivialité du lieu.
Aucune nuisance, si ce n’est les cloches de l’église au petit matin.
Nous avons aussi apprécié les petites routes entre les vignes et les beaux panorama de la région.
Nous n’hésiterons pas à revenir pour une prochaine occasion.- Cleanliness
