Welcome to the gîte "Le Castillou" in Moussoulens, a charming former coaching inn carefully restored to offer a peaceful stay in the heart of the Countryside. Whether you're looking for a family vacation, a romantic getaway or a break with friends, the Holiday cottage offers a unique experience in an enchanting setting in the Countryside.

The Holiday cottage is surrounded by a large, private, enclosed wooded park, creating a serene, relaxing atmosphere where you can enjoy the swimming pool in complete peace and quiet. Next to the swimming pool (6x10m, 2m deep), you'll find a fully-equipped poolhouse with summer kitchen, barbecue and garden furniture. It's the ideal place to prepare outdoor meals and enjoy convivial moments with friends and family.

The interior of the Holiday cottage offers:
- A bright living room with terrace, offering panoramic views of the surrounding park.
- A fully equipped kitchen.
First floor:
- 3 bedrooms with a 140 cm bed; a 160 cm bed; and three 90 cm beds, a bathroom with shower and WC and a 2nd independent WC.

Ideally located between the emblematic cities of Carcassonne, Albi and Toulouse, Le Castillou offers privileged access to all the cultural and natural riches of the region.
History buffs will be enchanted by the proximity of Carcassonne, famous for its listed medieval city. Albi, with its UNESCO World Heritage Cathedral, is an architectural treasure to be explored. And Toulouse, the Pink City, with its lively atmosphere.

The Holiday cottage's surroundings offer opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts: picturesque hiking trails offering panoramic views of local vineyards and rolling landscapes. Cyclists can take to the quiet roads to discover the region's natural beauty, or ride along the Canal du Midi.
For wine lovers, a visit to the local wineries is a must: discover the regional grape varieties, taste quality wines and immerse yourself in Aude's wine culture. In summer, the local Markets are brimming with fresh produce and regional specialities, offering an authentic gastronomic experience.
