Cosy gîte in the heart of the Aude region with private terrace in an authentic village between vineyards and history, halfway between Carcassonne and Limoux.

Pomas is a small village, a blend of history and tradition, with its castle and 14th-century Gothic church. Take a stroll through its quiet streets and enjoy the local shops: grocery-bar-restaurant, pizzeria. Railway station in the village (1€ fare to and from Carcassonne and Limoux). It's also an ideal starting point for walks and bike rides.
It's an ideal base for visiting the region. The medieval Cité de Carcassonne, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is 15 minutes away. Also nearby: Limoux and its rich terroir, the Abbey of St-Hilaire, the magnificent natural landscapes of the surrounding area, Rennes-le-Château and its mysterious treasure, the spa town of Rennes-les-bains and the typical village of Alet-les-bains.

The Holiday cottage features a private terrace, a cosy, intimate space where you can enjoy meals al fresco, or simply relax with a glass of local wine. The terrace is furnished with quality garden furniture and a gas plancha, ideal for convivial evenings in peace and quiet.

First floor:
- An air-conditioned living room with a fully-equipped open kitchen (fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, filter and espresso coffee maker), a sitting area with armchair sofa and connected TV and a dining table.
- Separate shower room: walk-in shower, washbasin and WC.
- Bedroom 1: one 160x200cm bed.

First floor:
- An open space with two single extra beds for two Kids with a baby area and equipment.
- Bedroom 2: two 90x200cm beds.
- Bedroom 3: one 180x200cm bed with en-suite shower room (shower, washbasin, WC) and dressing area with washing machine.

Public parking lot nearby. Possibility of closed and secure storage for bikes and/or motorcycles (on request from the owners).
