Just a few minutes from Carcassonne, "La Belle Demeure Carcassonnaise" is the perfect place to explore western Aude and the Carcassonne region, in a peaceful setting surrounded by historic sites, Vineyards, and nature. From the holiday cottage, you can quickly reach the famous medieval city—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—for a journey through history or a stroll along the ramparts. Those who love exploring will also appreciate the Cabardès vineyard, unique for its blend of Atlantic and Mediterranean influences, as well as Montolieu, the “village of books,” known for its bookstores and artisan workshops. The nearby Canal du Midi is perfect for walking or biking, while the Montagne Noire and its caves offer an ideal setting for nature outings.
This rural holiday cottage—a detached house with no direct access to the owners’ living quarters—can accommodate up to 8 people. It’s perfect for family vacations, large groups, or telework, thanks to its well-laid-out spaces and peaceful surroundings.
On the ground floor, you’ll find a pleasant living area combining an open kitchen and dining space. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, microwave, gas stovetop, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, and electric kettle. There is also a separate restroom on this level. A washing machine is available in the laundry room. The living room is located in an outbuilding about 20 m from the holiday cottage, offering a separate and appreciated space to relax in peace; this area is not accessible to young children without adult supervision.
Upstairs, the sleeping area is spread over two levels. The first floor features three bedrooms, as well as a bathroom and a separate toilet on the landing. The second floor houses a fourth bedroom with a private shower room and toilet.
The bedrooms are arranged as follows:

Bedroom 1, on the first floor, with a 140x190 bed, 14 m².
Bedroom 2, on the first floor, with a 140x190 bed, 14 m².
Bedroom 3, on the first floor, located in the outbuilding across from the holiday cottage, with a 160x200 bed, private shower room and toilet, 18 m².
Bedroom 4, on the second floor, with a 160x200 bed, private bathroom and toilet, 32 m².

Outside, you can enjoy a private, enclosed garden equipped with outdoor furniture, as well as a shaded patio ideal for dining on sunny days.
A private swimming pool, secured by barriers, 4 m in diameter and 1.20 m deep, is open from May through the end of September.
A garage provides parking for two cars.
