Just a few steps from the Porte d'Aude, you'll have direct access to the medieval city, its lively streets and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed ramparts. The Location is also within walking distance of the Bastide Saint-Louis, the historic heart of the City, where you'll find numerous shops, terraces and cultural venues.

From the Holiday cottage, you can explore the banks of the Aude, ideal for walking or cycling, as well as the Canal du Midi, also a World Heritage site. A little further afield, Lake de la Cavayère is a great alternative for swimming and outdoor activities. During the summer, the Cité festival and the events organized around July 14th will allow you to discover Carcassonne from another angle, with a festive and convivial atmosphere.
