L'Ange au Violon - Gîte XL

A magical place in the Aude! L'Ange au Violon is a little paradise set on the banks of a river, with a large outdoor area of several hectares where nature is omnipresent. This verdant setting also boasts a pond and a historic chapel bearing witness to a glorious past. The architecture of the Holiday cottage is atypical, this Tuscan castle dating back to the 19th century offers a unique place for a vacation.

It's ideally located at the foot of the Mountain Noire, 15 minutes from the Cité de Carcassonne. Other regional gems are just 15 minutes away: the Cathar castles of Lastours, the Limousis cave, Caunes-Minervois and its abbey.


On site, the 10-hectare park is ideal for a stroll, or just to relax in the shade of a bi- or tricentennial tree and enjoy the birdsong. The estate's chapel is not open to visitors, but its 15th-century Gothic style is sure to please. The river that runs alongside the estate and the pond are true havens of peace. The private Piscine (dim: 4x7m) is perfect for a refreshing dip or a moment of relaxation. Wellbeing area with sauna, spa, Hammam and fitness equipment. A large préau (former wine storehouse) features 2 ping-pong tables and table soccer.


Less than 10 minutes away: bakery, grocery store, supermarkets, restaurants. Ideal for weddings, seminars, birthday parties, family gatherings, exhibitions... There's plenty of parking space.


It consists of 2 independent, adjoining Holiday cottages that communicate with each other.

- Bedroom 2: 1 Bed 160 x 200 and 2 beds 90 x 200cm
- Bedroom 3: 1 Bed 160 x 200 and 2 beds 90 x 200cm
- Bedroom 4: 1 bed 160 x 200 and 2 beds 90 x 200 + WC, shower.

2 independent bathrooms with shower and WC in the corridor off the bedrooms.

From the kitchen, separated by an airlock isolated by 2 doors:
- Bedroom 5 with 1 bed (160 x 200) and 1 bed (90 x 200) + separate small kitchen + bathroom, WC.
- Bedroom 6 with 1 bed (160 x 200) and one bed (90 x 200) + dressing room + bathroom, WC.

The Holiday cottage is rented exclusively for you on the estate, everything is private, the owners are on site but let you take full advantage of the park and the Piscine.
