In the summer, Lake Cavayère—nicknamed “Carcassonne’s beach”—offers swimming, water sports, a tree-top adventure course, and relaxation areas. Throughout the year, Carcassonne comes alive with festivals, shows, and cultural events that add to the charm of this authentic and welcoming destination.

On the ground floor, you’ll find a cozy, air-conditioned living room with a sofa, dining area, and smart TV so you can enjoy your favorite streaming services after a day of sightseeing. The separate kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and drip coffee maker, allowing you to prepare your own meals.

Upstairs, the sleeping area consists of a first air-conditioned bedroom with a 140x190 cm double bed. The second bedroom has two 90 x 190 cm single beds. Facing north, it naturally stays cooler during the summer months. A separate bathroom with a shower, large sink, and toilet completes this floor.

Outside, you’ll enjoy a truly private living space with a fully fenced-in terrace and garden featuring fruit trees—including an orange tree—as well as a grapevine that adds charm and authenticity to the property. Perfect for enjoying sunny days in complete tranquility. Garden furniture, a plancha grill, and a barbecue are at your disposal for sharing convivial meals.

The holiday cottage does not have private parking, but you can easily park a car in front of the garage. Many other free parking spots are also available on the nearby street.
