Situated just a few minutes from Castelnaudary, the birthplace of cassoulet, the Holiday cottage is an ideal base for exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Canal du Midi, the Abbey of Saint Papoul and the medieval city of Carcassonne. This central location offers a fine balance between heritage, gastronomy and nature, with plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling. Semi-detached house with the owners, it retains a rustic, traditional feel, while offering generous volumes suitable for groups. On the first floor, you'll find a spacious living room with lounge and dining area, as well as a separate, fully-equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, kettle and filter and Nespresso coffee makers. The first floor bedrooms are as follows: Bedroom 1: 1 bed 180x200, private bathroom and WC, approx. 24 m2, with an adjoining bedroom of 7 m2 equipped with a 110x190 bed. Bedroom 2: 1 bed 180x200, private bathroom and WC, approx. 24 m2, with an adjoining bedroom of 9 m2 equipped with 2 90x190 beds.
Bedroom 3: 1 bed 160x200, private shower room and WC, approx. 21 m2 Upstairs, you'll enjoy a second living room, adjoining the bedroom: Bedroom 4: 1 bed 160x200, private shower room and WC, approx. 12 m2 Outside, the Holiday cottage has a private garden and a shaded terrace with summer kitchen, located in the immediate vicinity of the private outdoor swimming pool (3 x 8 m), secured by a tarpaulin. Parking is available in a private parking lot next to the Holiday cottage. Utilities included and air-conditioned living and lounge areas for optimum comfort all year round.
