Located on the border between the Lauragais plain and the foothills of the Montagne Noire, this village house is ideally situated for exploring the treasures of Cathar Country. Just 35 minutes from the famous medieval city of Carcassonne and 15 minutes from Lake Saint-Ferréol, you’ll enjoy a stay here that combines nature, culture, and relaxation.

History buffs will appreciate the proximity to the Canal du Midi (in Bram), picturesque villages, and UNESCO-listed sites. Outdoor enthusiasts can hike, swim, bike, or even enjoy a water ski lift just a few kilometers away.

Nestled in the Aude countryside, Saint-Papoul is a charming village typical of the Lauragais region. Its Benedictine abbey, founded in the 8th century and designated a Historic Monument, is a jewel of Romanesque art with its cloister, frescoes, and sculptures. Just a short walk from the house, this exceptional site lends the village a peaceful and timeless atmosphere.

This house, tastefully renovated and fully air-conditioned (reversible), combines old-world charm with modern comfort. Located on a quiet street in the village center, it can accommodate up to 6 people in a warm and welcoming setting.

A covered patio furnished with garden furniture opens onto a pleasant landscaped garden. The owners, who live in the semi-detached house, invite you to share their garden. They live on-site with Aristote, their dog, who adds to the warm, friendly atmosphere of the place.
