Montséret, a charming village in the Aude department nestled in the heart of the Corbières, captivates visitors with its authenticity and calm. Dominated by the ruins of a medieval castle, it offers a remarkable panorama of the surrounding Vineyards.
The region is ideal for Hiking enthusiasts, with marked trails between garrigue and limestone hills. Nearby, don't miss Lagrasse, one of France's most beautiful villages, with its abbey and crafts. Fontfroide and its Cistercian abbey are also well worth a visit. Narbonne's beaches are less than 40 minutes away.
In terms of activities, mountain biking, wine tourism and horse riding are very popular. Montséret is part of the Corbières AOC terroir: tastings of local wines in the cellars and wineries are a must. The Lézignan-Corbières Market is the perfect place to discover local produce. History buffs will also appreciate the nearby Cathar castles. The sunny Mediterranean climate adds to the pleasure of your stay.
La Récréation is the ideal place to spend a relaxing moment as a couple, after your excursions, enjoying a soothing soak in the Jacuzzi on the terrace while contemplating the wild landscapes of the Corbières.
The Holiday cottage, located next to the owners' house, but quite independent, comprises:
-a living room with air-conditioned kitchen, opening onto the terrace.
-a bedroom with 1 x 160 cm bed.
-a bathroom with WC.
Laundry service available from the owners (€8 per machine).
