Nestled at an altitude of 410m in a natural setting and housed in an authentic old stone house, La Petite Maison dans la Prairie opens its doors to you for a stay where rest and tranquillity are the key words! Cassaignes is a quiet, picturesque village with preserved architecture, facing the Pyrenees mountain range and overlooking Rennes-le-Château and the Pic de Bugarach, close to Carcassonne and central for visiting the castles and Cathar country!

There's plenty to do in the area, including Hiking through the beautiful countryside from the Holiday cottage, and mountain biking. You can also discover the riches of the local heritage: the spa town of Rennes-les-Bains, the mysterious treasure of Rennes-le-Château, the charming village of Alet-les-bains or the Château d'Arques, all less than 15 minutes from your accommodation!

The Holiday cottage is self-contained, with direct access to the shady meadow. On site, you'll find a private terrace with garden furniture and barbecue, and a large outdoor area ideal for Kids, as the village is a rare stopover. The outdoor space is unfenced and open to nature.
