La Maison La Borde

Life is good in our charming Lauragais village, built in a "circulade" pattern in the foothills of the Montagne Noire, between Castelnaudary (7 km) and Revel (14 km), 40 km from Carcassonne and 58 km from Toulouse.

From here, you can discover the Cathar sites, the works of the Canal du Midi, or enjoy bathing and water sports in the lakes (Saint-Ferreol, le Lampy, La Ganguise, Lenclas, etc.), walking trails in the woods around the village, or the communal facilities, which are freely accessible: tennis courts, soccer fields, basquet courts, kids' playground, fitness trail.


Nearby, you can visit all the attractions of the region: the world capital of cassoulet, Castelnaudary, the medieval city of Carcassonne, walks along the UNESCO World Heritage Canal du Midi, the Revel Market, the St-Ferriol basin, the magnificent scenery of the Black Mountain with its lakes and waterfalls, or the Abbey of St-Papoul. On site, you can wander the historic streets of Issel, with its surrounding Hiking trails over the Lauragais plains. Throughout the year, events take place in the village.


The Holiday cottage has a large outdoor space, a large garden with furniture, where you can enjoy your meals outside or simply relax after a day of sightseeing. Private parking is available on the property.
