Located in Saint-Hilaire, in the Aude region, this Holiday cottage is nestled in the heart of a vineyard estate in the Blanquette de Limoux appellation area, surrounded by sloping vineyards and small pine and holm oak forests. The peaceful, slightly isolated setting is ideal for recharging your batteries.
Just a stone's throw away, discover the Cathar region and the famous Abbey of Saint-Hilaire, where tradition has it that the visiting monk Dom Pérignon discovered the champagne method. Numerous walking and Hiking trails criss-cross the surrounding area, allowing you to explore the Limouxin countryside on foot or by bike. The medieval city of Carcassonne is just 20 minutes away for a cultural and gourmet getaway, while the Mediterranean beaches are around 1 hour's drive away.
La maison de Rose is a two-storey Holiday cottage adjoining the owners' house, with its own private garden:
First floor:
_A living room with lounge area: TV, 140cm BZ sofa, and equipped kitchen area (gas hob, oven, traditional coffee maker, dishwasher), all opening onto a rear terrace and garden,
First floor:
_A bathroom with shower cubicle and toilet;
A bedroom with a double bed (140cm) and air-conditioning,
A bedroom with a 140cm bed and two 90cm bunk beds, air-conditioned,
Outside: a shaded terrace with garden furniture, charcoal barbecue, independent garden with private above-ground swimming pool (round, diameter 3.66 m, depth 1 m), pétanque court, and portico for Kids.

Loin du tumulte de la ville. Les propriétaires sont disponibles discrets et vous accueillent avec des petits cadeaux bien pensés.

Enia Charmante semaine dans l'Aude
Nous avons passé une semaine avec un enfant de 5 ans dans ce charmant gîte pendant les vacances de Pâques.
Le jardin est complètement privatif et très agréable. Des jeux tels que des boules de pétanque, des raquettes, sont mis à disposition.
Le gîte est confortable. La literie est agréable. L'escalier menant à l'étage est un peu raide.
A toute proximité du gîte, dans la cour, il y a des chèvres, des poules, des lapins.
Les propriétaires sont très accueillants. Nous avons même profité d'une visite guidée du village voisin et de son abbaye.
Dans les environs, il y a bien sûr Carcassonne et sa cité. Nous avons également profité des châteaux de Lastours, visite de la grotte de Limousis. La région regorge de charmants villages, tels Rennes-le-Château ou Alet-les-Bains. La côte méditerranéenne est à 1h avec l'autoroute.
