La Maison de Mauricette

Welcome to Mauricette's House! You'll be staying in Lagrasse, one of France's most beautiful villages. The Holiday cottage is located opposite the abbey, in its southern setting. A shaded terrace on the banks of the Orbieu River overlooks the valley.

You can also stroll through the narrow streets of the village, discovering its craft stores and every week, under the square, the Market and its warm atmosphere. You'll also have plenty of time to go to the nearby Orbieu Beach, where you can enjoy a supervised swim in season.

For gourmets, Lagrasse offers a choice of restaurants at different levels. Gastronomic restaurants, (such as Le Bastion, La Basse cour, l'Hotellerie des Corbièrers.) pizzerias, bistros and cafés with terraces under the plane trees. You can sample local produce and specialties such as Kina Karo aperitif and Vinaigrerie Codina, honeys from beekeeper Frédéric Garcia and coffees from the coffee roaster!
The surrounding vineyards also offer quality wine tastings, a must for wine lovers.
Nature lovers will be delighted by the surrounding landscapes, ideal for Hiking and cycling.

If you're a history buff, be sure to visit the Cathar castles dotted around the region. These impressive relics will plunge you back into medieval times and offer breathtaking panoramas.

Lagrasse is an ideal base from which to discover the region's cultural heritage, with the Cité de Carcassonne, the Abbaye de Fontfroide, Narbonne, the Canal du Midi and the Mediterranean beaches just 45 minutes away, etc... La Maison de Mauricette includes:

_a private courtyard terrace with garden furniture, to enjoy long summer evenings by the river.

Second floor: bedroom with 1 double bed (140cm). Shower room and separate WC.

Second floor, bedroom with 2 single beds.

Electricity consumption: 2kwH/day/person included. Excess consumption to be paid to the owner at the end of your stay.
