La grange de Bamby Secure rural gite, close to the Pyrenean ski resorts of the Aude and Ariège regions (Camurac 3km away, Ax 3 domaines 20km away), and the cross-country ski and snowshoe trails of the Domaine de la Chioula (6km away). Open all year round, it is the ideal base for all local summer and winter tourism activities. The gite is located in the heart of the village of Camurac, the starting point for numerous signposted hiking and mountain bike trails, 20 meters from the village grocery-bar. The farm at Camurac is part of the organic approach of the "La Nauze" farm, which harvests certified organic mountain rose hips.

The 4,000m² meadow adjoining the gite has been converted into an area for outdoor leisure activities: cyclocross, mountain biking, hiking trails, relaxation with friends near the Cathar cross, outdoor activities in summer and winter (sliding games, snowshoeing, etc.) - garden furniture, barbecue, boules, skittles, reading and relaxation areas with outdoor ashtrays. Particular attention is paid to the ecological treatment of all waste produced in the gite area. A composter is permanently available to residents.

The gîte can be adapted to accommodate 5, 9 or 15 people.

The gite has 3 levels: ground floor: entrance hall adjoining a reception room with cupboards, laundry area and shower room with integrated toilet. Floor 1: large living room with fully-equipped kitchen bar, 4 independent bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms and toilets, each with 7 single beds (90/190), 1 double bed (140/190); Floor 2: mezzanine with sitting areas for adults and children, rest room with 6 modular single beds serving as a 5th bedroom for up to 15 people. The gîte is also equipped for individual or family curists.

From June to September, hikers accompanied by donkeys can rest their mounts in the upper part of the meadow for €20 per animal per night, including the cost of paddocks, natural grass or organic hay, to be paid at the beginning of the stay.

Tents and hammocks (not supplied) can be set up free of charge in the part of the meadow adjoining the gite.
