La Gloire de Mon Père

Designed with vacations in mind, this holiday cottage—renovated in 2015—is the perfect setting for getaways with family or friends, offering a mix of exploration, relaxation by the Piscine, and long summer evenings spent playing pétanque.

Ideally located near downtown Carcassonne and its majestic medieval citadel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the holiday cottage offers the perfect blend of history, fine dining, and leisure activities. Stroll through the narrow streets steeped in history, enjoy the local markets and traditional Restaurants, or take a boat ride along the Canal du Midi.

The surrounding area also offers numerous activities: hiking, biking, visits to wineries, water sports, or exploring the landscapes of the Aude region. After a day of sightseeing, you can return to the comfort of the property and share convivial moments in the common areas.

The rest of the property and its garden are shared with the estate’s second holiday cottage; various seating areas are set up on the property, including a shared pool area (10x4.2m, Depth 1.60m, secured by a gate), a pétanque court, a barbecue area, and a playground for kids,
A laundry room with two washing machines and a dryer is available.

Parking (9 spaces) on the property, secured by an electric gate.

The owners live on-site in the caretaker’s house and are available to assist while ensuring your privacy. A second holiday cottage is located on the property, with no direct view of neighboring homes and no shared walls.
