In the heart of our LA FORGE estate, the calm and charm of an air-conditioned character house.
It's 4 km from the center of Narbonne, close to all shops and amenities, 15 km from the Beach and close to the Canal du Midi. In a wooded and flowery setting, this comfortable, air-conditioned former winegrower's house has been lovingly restored. All rooms open onto the Vineyard, and at the rear the living room has direct access to its private terrace with garden furniture, deckchairs, barbecue and the shady enclosed approval garden shared by 2 Holiday cottages.
Ground floor: living room( wifi, TV, MP3 radio), kitchen(LL, LV, microwave, fridge-freezer, induction hob, oven).
Upstairs: two bedrooms: one with 1 x 160cm bed and one with 1 x 140cm bed and 1 x 90cm bed.
Separate shower room and WC.
Baby bed, high chair, bathtub and stair rail available on request.
The hangar doubles as a carport.
Narbonne is ideally situated for discovering its medieval heritage, the Romanesque Museum, the city of Carcassonne (45 km), the abbeys of Fontfroide and Lagrasse, the Cabrespine chasms, the gentle eye, the Cathar castles, the African reserve, the cellars......discover its gastronomy, attend festivals....practise all kinds of sports and the list goes on...

Ce grand domaine familial depuis 5 générations comportait plusieurs habitations destinées au personnel habitant sur place. Au fil des ans, certains se sont déplacés en centre ville, d'autres sont partis retrouver leurs racines: souvent en Espagne. Nous avons alors choisi de redonner vie à ces maisons vigneronnes, en les mettant au goût du jour en les destinant à des vacanciers de tout horizon.

5/5Accueil chaleureux et utile pour les visites. Le gîte a du caractère, est très propre et les équipements sont de qualité. Possibilité de nombreuses visites quand la météo n'est pas bonne. Nous sommes très contents de notre séjour d'une semaine en avril.

3/5Idéalement situé pour visiter Narbonne et sa région, nous avons apprécié le confort et le calme du gîte La Forge ainsi que la qualité de l'accueil par les propriétaires. Belle semaine ensoleillée de fin août au sein des vignobles dans l'ambiance des vendanges, nous sommes très satisfaits de cette escapade en Occitanie!

5/5De gite was mooi gelegen, heel landelijk en toch op een korte afstand van Narbonne. Het huisje was bovendien heel net en was uitgerust met alles wat we nodig hadden; oven, vaatwasser, koelkast, diepvriezer, kinderbedje, ligstoelen, ... En ook niet onbelangrijk: de eigenaris was een heel vriendelijke dame. We hebben een heel mooi verblijf gehad in Narbonne!
