With its light-filled stone walls, the La Forge holiday cottage offers a peaceful retreat in the Countryside, on the outskirts of Narbonne. A home designed to let you savor the tranquility, the scents of the Mediterranean, and the slower pace of life, set within a working vineyard.

Located 4 km from the center of Narbonne—a Roman city with a remarkable heritage—the holiday cottage enjoys a prime location between the Mediterranean Sea, the Canal du Midi, and the vineyards of the Aude region. Here, the countryside stretches out gently, dotted with cypress trees, garrigue, and vineyard landscapes.

From the estate, there are plenty of options for day trips: beaches are just 17 km away; the Canal du Midi, right on the property, is perfect for bike rides or walks; and there’s no shortage of iconic sites to explore. Narbonne and its gourmet markets, the Museum of Roman Civilization, the city of Carcassonne 45 km away, the abbeys of Fontfroide and Lagrasse, the Cathar castles, the Cabrespine caves, and the Sigean African Wildlife Reserve all make up a rich and vibrant region. Not to mention wine tastings at nearby cellars, festivals, and hearty local cuisine with a southern flair.

Further away on the property are another holiday cottage and the owners’ residence, ensuring a lively atmosphere while preserving everyone’s privacy.
