La Forge

In the heart of a winegrowing village in the Aude department, just 12 km from Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi, La Forge welcomes you to an authentic old house full of charm, ideal for a natural interlude in Cathar country.

Located in Sainte-Eulalie, in a peaceful village close to Carcassonne, the Holiday cottage enjoys a privileged setting between the vineyards of the Cabardès and the landscapes of the Mountain Noire. Nearby, the famous medieval city of Carcassonne, the UNESCO World Heritage Canal du Midi, farmers' markets and numerous hiking and biking trails offer a wealth of ideas for discovery.

The owners, passionate winegrowers, live on the other side of the courtyard and will be happy to share their trade: a "technical" tour of the vineyard followed by a tasting of their wines, produced from vines located on the southern slopes of the Mountain Noire, on the Cabardès terroir, and elaborated by their son Arnaud.

Housed in an old farmhouse, the Holiday cottage is pleasantly cool in summer, and offers :

_A living room with TV, dining area and open kitchen (gas hob, oven, washing machine, dishwasher, traditional coffee maker),
Separate toilet with washbasin,

_One bedroom with two 90cm beds,
One bedroom with a 160cm bed,
A bathroom with shower,

There's also an adjoining barn with a table-tennis table,
Outside, in front of the Holiday cottage, a private terrace with garden furniture and electric plancha, bordered by a plant hedge high enough to maintain privacy, and which opens onto a large, quiet, shaded, unenclosed courtyard.
