Welcome to La Colline aux Oiseaux, a Holiday cottage set in 2.5 hectares of wooded grounds in the heart of the Cathar countryside, at the foot of the Pyrenees. It's a spacious, warm and bright vacation home. It's the ideal place to spend a quiet family holiday, with your feet in the water by the Piscine, while discovering the nearby unspoilt countryside and visiting exceptional sites.

A unique location set apart from the village and less than 15 minutes from all amenities, with a magnificent view of the hill and the historic tower of Fa.

The holiday cottage consists of a 194-square-meter house surrounded by spacious, tree-lined outdoor areas, a 200-square-meter terrace, a 20-square-meter covered terrace, and, right nearby, a beautiful private pool (6x10m, secured with a roller shutter and gate, treated with UV light and active oxygen) with landscaped surroundings, and a sheltered, fully equipped outdoor kitchen: plancha grill, barbecue, dishwasher, refrigerators… The terraces and pool area are furnished with garden furniture.
The holiday cottage is located on the hosts’ property.

In the village, a 10-minute walk away: Restaurant, grocery store, and bread delivery on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Nearby: Rennes-le-Château and its mysteries, the Cathar castles, the Dinosaur Museum, the Galamus Gorges and hermitage, and the medieval city of Carcassonne. Puivert and Chalabre Castles, Alet-les-Bains Abbey, Bugarach Peak, the Green Labyrinth of Nébias, outdoor sports activities (whitewater rafting, caves, lakes, tree-top adventure courses, escape games...).

On the ground floor:
- A large, fully equipped open kitchen (dishwasher, 2 refrigerators with freezer compartments, microwave, oven, espresso machine), and a dining table.
- A spacious living room with a smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, and DVD player

- A separate bathroom: shower, toilet, washer, and dryer
- Bedroom 1: 160x200 cm bed (or 2 80x200 cm beds), 2 90x200 cm bunk beds
