La Closerie

Located in La Redorte, in the heart of the Minervois region, La Closerie invites you to discover a landscape shaped by stone, vineyards, and water. The Canal du Midi runs through the village and offers lovely walks or bike rides, while the Abbey of Caunes-Minervois, Minerve, and the city of Carcassonne invite you to explore a remarkable heritage, blending Cathar history with Mediterranean landscapes. Just a few minutes away, Lake Jouarres offers a pleasant retreat for swimming or a refreshing break.
You’ll stay in a family-run, air-conditioned Bed and breakfast where the owners live on-site. On the ground floor, a large living area combines the living room and dining room, and this is where breakfast may be served depending on the weather.
Upstairs, two comfortable bedrooms await you, each with its own amenities:
• La Bohème: two 90x200 cm beds (which can be joined to form a 180x200 cm bed), private bathroom and toilet, approximately 29 m².
• Azure: one 180x200 cm bed, private bathroom and toilet, approximately 28 m², opening onto a private terrace.
Outside, you can enjoy a garden shared with the estate’s two other holiday cottages and the owners. A shaded terrace allows you to enjoy breakfast outdoors on sunny days. The shared pool, secured by an alarm, is accessible from early May to late September; it measures approximately 5 x 10 m with a depth ranging from 1.40 m to 1.70 m. On-site, a pétanque court and a ping-pong table add to the relaxing atmosphere. You’ll find public parking on the street, right nearby.
La Closerie is perfect for both couples and cyclists looking to explore the Minervois region. The tranquility of the countryside, the air-conditioned rooms, and the pleasant outdoor spaces make this a great place to experience the Aude in a different way.
