Welcome to La Cazabanelle, a haven of peace just outside Carcassonne. Nestled in the heart of the Minervois Vineyard, our home invites you to take a gentle break from nature and discovery. Whether you're looking for rest, bucolic strolls or gastronomic experiences, our guest house is the ideal address for a warm, authentic stay.
Ideally located, it's within easy reach of the treasures of the Aude region (package deals available):
- The UNESCO World Heritage City of Carcassonne, 15 minutes away by car.
- The Canal du Midi, perfect for walking or cycling along its shady banks.
- The Minervois vineyards, with numerous cellars and estates offering wine tastings.
- The Cathar castles, fascinating witnesses to a rich history.
- The Grottes de Limousis and the Gouffre de Cabrespine, natural wonders to explore.
- Hiking and outdoor activities in the Mountain Noire, on the Capitelles circuit or around Lake Cavayère.
- Balneotherapy center 10 km away in Peyriac Minervois, with swimming pool, sauna and Hammam.
The village is home to a number of shops, including a mini-market, bakery, butcher and florist. A bike rental shop is located in the village. A secure bike storage area is available in the house.
On site, the guest house has a large fenced outdoor area, ideal for relaxing in the sun. A summer kitchen is freely accessible, equipped with a barbecue for convivial grilling. Private, secure parking on the property. A varied and hearty breakfast is served every morning in a charming breakfast room overlooking the garden.
The house has two bedrooms: La Cabardès and La Minervoise.
WIFI connection in both bedrooms, which are also equipped with a TV. Pets allowed only on good behavior, with the owners' (very friendly) dog on site.
