La Casita, charming 2-person Holiday cottage located in a peaceful village in the heart of the Haute Vallée de l'Aude, between unspoilt nature, authentic villages and historic sites.

Carefully converted from a 19th-century barn, this charming little cocoon is ideal for a romantic getaway, a green vacation or a relaxing break in the Aude region. With its private terrace and sunny garden shaded by elder trees, the Holiday cottage invites you to stroll, rest and contemplate the landscapes of the Pyrenean Piedmont. Adjoining the owners' house, but with independent access, "La Casita" is designed to comfortably accommodate 2 people, with a pleasant living room with sofa and TV opening onto the terrace and garden with barbecue, a fully-equipped kitchen: fridge, gas stove with oven, microwave, filter coffee maker and washing machine, a bathroom with shower and sanitary WC, a cosy mezzanine bedroom with double bed (140cm) and storage space.

Hiking, cycling and nature lovers will appreciate the peaceful village setting and the many paths directly accessible from the Holiday cottage. Cyclists are welcome, with dedicated facilities including tools, air compressor and inflator. Public parking lot nearby. La Casita is ideally located for discovering the treasures of the Haute Vallée de l'Aude and the Pays Cathare. From the Holiday cottage, you can explore the famous Cathar castles, historic abbeys and mysterious landscapes for which the region is famous. Just a few kilometers away, explore the mythical village of Rennes-le-Château, the impressive Cardou and Bugarach peaks, and the ancient 17th-century glass furnaces of the Forest de la Fajane. Stroll through the picturesque Espéraza Market, renowned for its local produce and authentic atmosphere, then sample the famous Limoux wines in the private cellars of the region's winemakers. Nature lovers will enjoy the many hiking trails, mountain bike circuits and scenic routes through an incredible diversity of landscapes between mountains, forests, vineyards and wild valleys.
