La Capitelle

In the Haute Vallée de l'Aude, in the charming and typical village of Coustaussa, you'll find the Holiday cottage La Capitelle. A peaceful spot, surrounded by natural scenery, with a splendid view of the historic castle and the Pyrenees in the background.

It's here that you can recharge your batteries for the duration of your stay, in a unique location within easy reach of many attractions: shops and restaurants just 5 minutes away by car, Hiking or cycling through a beautiful, unspoilt setting from the gîte.


You'll also be close to the region's jewels: Château des Ducs de Joyeuse in Couiza, Rennes-le-Château and its mysterious treasure, the Roman Thermal baths of Rennes-les-Bains, the village of Alet-les-bain and its springs, the Pic de Bugarach and Limoux, famous for its blanquette. You'll be 45 minutes from Carcassonne and its famous medieval city. On site, the Holiday cottage boasts a beautiful, spacious terrace surrounded by the flora of the region, where you can enjoy breakfast or dinner with the breathtaking view. A summer kitchen is also at your disposal, with a barbecue area to liven up your lunch or dinner...


La Capitelle has a large, unfenced outdoor area where you can enjoy nature to the full and listen to the birdsong. A small private road crosses the property, allowing you to park your vehicles in complete safety. A bicycle storage area is also available.


This comfortable, air-conditioned Holiday cottage comprises a large living room with a sitting area featuring a sofa and TV, a dining table and a separate, fully-equipped kitchen. Laundry room with washing machine. A separate shower room with a large walk-in shower and washbasin. A first bedroom with a 160cm bed and a second bedroom with two 80cm beds that can be placed close together. A third bedroom is available with an optional 140cm double sofa-bed. Separate WC. Baby Equipment available on request (€5 for the whole stay).
