La Capelagne

In the heart of a pretty medieval village in the Corbières region, between the Mediterranean and the castles of Cathar country, you'll be seduced by the patio terraces around which the day rooms are organized. Other shaded areas and a solarium provide reading, play and relaxation areas. Large Holiday cottage in a character house in the heart of a typical Corbières village. The name of the Holiday cottage, "La Capelagne", comes from the house's former use as a presbytery. The attentive owners will be delighted to share their knowledge of the area and its geology, and to accompany you on Hiking or cycling tours.

As you enter the Holiday cottage, you'll be greeted by a flower-filled courtyard that's very pleasant in summer. You enter the house through a long living room with a fireplace. Opposite, you'll find the fully-equipped kitchen area and a large dining table. There's a veranda-dining room for informal dining, and a patio with barbecue where you can enjoy breakfast in the sun.

On the second floor, a hallway with a small office leads to :

-a shower room with a large "Italian" shower, a double washbasin and a separate toilet.
3 bedrooms:
-1st double bedroom with 160 cm bed;
-a through bedroom with a 160cm bed, connecting to a bedroom with 3 90cm beds (including 2 Bunk beds), also served by an outside staircase accessible from the courtyard.


Second floor: living room with sofa, library and games for young and old.
-bedroom with 2 single beds (90cm).
This area also provides access to :

-bedroom with 2 single beds (90cm);
bathroom with walk-in shower, double washbasin and separate toilet.
-solarium terrace overlooking the village rooftops, hills and vineyards.

To discover the magnificent local scenery, a number of signposted trails are available: Hiking (including "la rando du géologue" with explanatory theme panels), mountain biking and cycling (documentation available in the Holiday cottage).
In summer, the village organizes small festivals, with meals and various competitions, providing a very convivial and festive atmosphere. Three bicycles are available in the shelter of the Holiday cottage.osés : Hiking
