La Cabane Bleue

Located between the Montagne Noire and the Pays Cathare, close to the Canal du Midi and 30 minutes from the medieval city of Carcassonne, the Gîte "La Cabane Bleue" on the estate of La Tuilerie de Villelongue welcomes you to an authentic, unspoilt estate.

With its small "Rossignol" valley dedicated to organic farming, its orchards and rehabilitated vegetable garden, Hiking between Forest and garrigue, bike rides, strolls to Montolieu, village of the Book (5km), music concert at the Cistercian Abbey of Villelongue (400m walk), gourmet dinner in the hamlet (Table Fermière-100m). The area lends itself to relaxation and idleness. From the Holiday cottage, you can enjoy a wide range of walks and mountain bike rides in the surrounding oak woods. You're halfway between Carcassonne and Castelnaudary, an ideal starting point for discovering this region rich in cultural visits and gastronomic heritage. On the estate, you can use the communal Piscine from early June to late September, and book our homemade PDJ baskets or table d'hôtes.

The single-storey Holiday cottage comprises a living room with kitchen opening onto the terrace. Separate WC, shower room with Italian shower. 2 bedrooms: 1 double bed (160cm) and 2 single beds (90cm). Bed linen and towels provided. Housekeeping optional. On-site parking.
