In Homps, a charming Minervois village on the banks of the Canal du Midi, La Belle Éclusière opens its doors to you for a stay dedicated to relaxation, good living and discovery. Here, the canal gives rhythm to the day, inviting you to stroll or cycle, while the Marina and its restaurants, less than 200 m away, provide a lively, friendly atmosphere. The surrounding area offers many possibilities for outings, including Lake Jouarres, popular for water sports, the medieval town of Minerve perched high above the gorges, the abbey of Caunes-Minervois and its red marble, and the Oulibo cooperative, a veritable benchmark for olive growing. This detached house, shared with the owners, has a traditional, Countryside feel and is ideal for up to 12 people. It is particularly well-suited to cyclists, hikers and pilgrims on the GR 78 on the Pyrenean Piedmont route to Santiago de Compostela, as well as to couples seeking peace and quiet, and is also ideal for group stays. On the first floor, a bright dining room opens directly onto the garden. Breakfast is served either indoors or on the terrace, depending on the season, to make the most of the fine weather. On the second floor, the lounge offers a relaxing area with a library. It opens onto a terrace offering a pleasant view of the Canal du Midi, perfect for a moment's rest after a day of discovery. Le Canal de Riquet, on the 2nd floor, 40 m² family suite with two bedrooms, one with a 160x200 bed and the other with four 90x200 beds, large private bathroom and toilet. The bedroom with the single beds is air-conditioned. Soleil de l'Aude, on the 2nd floor, a 16 m² bedroom with a 160x200 bed, private bathroom and WC. Outside, there's a shared enclosed garden with garden furniture, and a pleasant terrace. A shared outdoor Piscine measuring 5.20 x 5.20 m is available from May 1 to September 30, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Parking is available on the street, with the possibility of parking bikes and motorcycles inside the property.
