There are numerous Hiking trails all around the village, including to the Lauquet valley, St-Hilaire abbey and the Limoux wine cellars... Carcassonne and its famous city are 25 minutes away. Ground floor: living room with fitted kitchen opening onto terrace. Upstairs: 3 bedrooms including 2 140 cm beds for 2 people, and 1 120 cm bed for 1 person, shower room, WC. 50 m parking from Holiday cottage.
Located in the peaceful village of Greffeil, this Holiday cottage welcomes you to the heart of the Countryside in a quiet, unspoilt setting. You're at the gateway to the Lauquet valley, a paradise for nature lovers and hikers. Just a few kilometers away, discover Saint-Hilaire Abbey, the birthplace of Blanquette de Limoux, and let yourself be seduced by the local cellars for an authentic wine tasting. Carcassonne and its famous medieval city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are just a 25-minute drive away.
The Holiday cottage offers a warm and functional interior. It offers :

_A bright living room with fully equipped kitchenette (gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, filter coffee maker), all opening onto a terrace with garden furniture and barbecue,
First floor:
_Two bedrooms, each with a 140cm bed,
One bedroom with a 120cm bed,
A bathroom with shower cubicle,
A separate toilet,
Parking 50 m from the Holiday cottage.
From May, every Tuesday: Market with small local producers and refreshment bar in the village.

Chrisjo Gite reposant

ruisseau Séjour très sympathique
Séjour très agréable. La région est belle. Carcassonne n'est pas loin. Les commerces sont un peu loin (Limoux). MPetir mrché sympathique le mardi soir pour découvrir les produits locaux. Point d'eau ou l'on peut se baigner dans la Lauquet 4 kms en aval a l'entrée de Ladern-sur-Lzuquet.
Narbonne n'est pas trop loin, c'est une belle ville.- Cleanliness

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par les propriétaires qui ont été très serviables et disponibles. Le gîte est propre et fonctionnel, il ne manque rien! Les 3 chambres sont grandes, avec des rangements. La terrasse est sympa avec son barbecue. Tout est fait pour passer un bon séjour dans un cadre naturel, avec la rivière à côté et de belles balades à faire. Nous étions ravis d'avoir passé quelques jours à Greffeil et de découvrir cette belle région.

Gîtes lovers Un séjour très agréable
We had a very pleasant stay. The owners were very nice and told us the history of the village. The region was very nice and had a beautiful surrounding landscape. The gite was very clean and spacious with the appropriate material you'd need for your stay. I would return to this beautiful region:)
