My gîte is located in the heart of Cathar country and allows you to visit many castles in a star formation.

The surrounding countryside is rich in wildlife and varied flora. Hiking is possible from the Holiday cottage. The world-famous village of Rennes le Château is nearby. It holds the mystery of Abbé Saunière and his treasure... and for the contemplative, it's a viewpoint over the Pyrenees mountain range. Holiday cottage located in a natural environment just a few kilometers from the village of Rennes le Château. Classes vertes and vacation cottages nearby. Numerous hiking and mountain bike trails, and a visit to the dinosaur museum in Esperaza. White-water sports facilities in the upper Aude valley 10 minutes away. Pergola terrace with garden furniture, lovely views of the surrounding area. Located on the 1st floor of a coach house. Fully-equipped living room/kitchen. 2 bedrooms (2 single beds and 1 double bed). 1 separate WC, bathroom. Small private garden in front of Holiday cottage (25m²). Out of season, Oil heating extra (approx. 40€ / week).
