Gîte L'Echappée Vigneronne

Nestled in the heart of a vineyard near Carcassonne, the Gîte Échappée Vigneronne offers a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature and vineyards, complete with a shared Piscine and on-site wine tastings.

Located in Pennautier, just a few minutes from Carcassonne and its famous medieval citadel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this holiday cottage immerses you in the authentic atmosphere of the Carcassonne region. Here you are in the heart of a vineyard surrounded by nature, an invitation to discover the landscapes of Cabardès and local expertise. The Canal du Midi, perfect for walks or bike rides, is nearby, as is Montolieu, the “village of books,” and the castles of Lastours. Heading toward the Montagne Noire, you’ll find remarkable natural sites, including caves, forests, and lakes.
This detached house, located near the owners’ home, offers an atmosphere blending tradition, modernity, and a Chalet-style vibe, in a quiet and lush setting.
On one level, you’ll enjoy a living area with an open-concept living room and kitchen, fully equipped with an oven, induction cooktop, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, kettle, and Nespresso coffee maker. A washing machine is available for free in a shared laundry room. A bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet completes the space.
The holiday cottage can accommodate up to 5 people thanks to its two bedrooms:

Bedroom 1: 1 bed (160x200 cm), approximately 7 m²
Bedroom 2: 1 bed (90x190 cm) and 2 bunk beds (90x190 cm), approximately 7 m²

Outside, you’ll enjoy a terrace with patio furniture and a shared garden within the property.
The shared outdoor Piscine, covered by a shelter, is open from April through late November, from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM. It measures 9 x 4 m with a depth ranging from 1.10 to 1.70 m and is shared with four unusual barrel-style accommodations. Parking is available on the estate, and utilities are included.
Particularly suited for couples and cyclists, this holiday cottage charms with its natural setting and its location within an active vineyard where the owner offers tastings—an ideal way to experience the region in a unique way.
