Gîte le Bouirou

In the heart of the Montagne Noire between Mazamet and Carcassonne, discover the Gîte le Bouirou in a natural setting surrounded by meadows and forests. The situation is ideal for making the full of discoveries: Parc Naturel du Haut-Languedoc, the impressive Gateway of Mazamet, the Medieval City of Carcassonne, the Cathedral of Albi, the Cathar Castles of Lastours, mountain bike circuits or numerous atypical places for fishing, hiking or swimming (Lac des Montagnès, wild lake of Laprade). In the village there is a grocery shop as well as a bar and a restaurant. On site at the gîte you will have a private terrace with furniture and garden furniture as well as a wood-fired barbecue to enjoy moments of relaxation in a calm setting where rest will be the key word of your stay! A large outdoor space is also available to you, let yourself be guided and take the forest paths right next to the gite, which makes this place unique. You can park your car in front of the gite which is also equipped with a secure gate. Possibility of lending 4 bicycles.

The gîte is on one level and comprises a living room with a sitting area (sofas and TV), a wood-burning stove to keep you warm (wood is provided) and a fully equipped kitchen and dining table. A first bedroom with two 90cm beds that can be joined together to make a king size bed, a second bedroom with two 90cm single beds, each room is equipped with suitable storage. A shower room with an Italian shower and a washbasin. An independent WC with a hand-washer. The entrance has a laundry area with a washing machine. Sheets and towels, cleaning fee and firewood (1/2 stere of wood) are optional extras. The gîte has a Wifi connection. Electric heating for the rest of the house. A large part of the land is fenced.
