The location is ideal for a host of discoveries: Parc Naturel du Haut-Languedoc, Mazamet's impressive Passerelle, Carcassonne's Cité Médiévale, Albi Cathedral, Lastours' Châteaux Cathares, mountain biking trails and many atypical spots for Fishing, Hiking or Swimming. Only 3km from the Holiday cottage, you can swim at the Laprade dam in summer (with lifeguard supervision). In the village, you'll find a grocery store, bar and restaurant.
On site at the Holiday cottage, you'll find a private terrace with garden furniture and a wood-fired barbecue, so you can relax in a peaceful setting where rest and relaxation will be the watchwords of your stay! You can even enjoy the mosquito-free terrace in the evening. A large, equally private outdoor area is also at your disposal, so let yourself be guided along the forest paths right next to the Holiday cottage, which make this place so unique. You can park your car in front of the Holiday cottage, which is also equipped with a secure gate. Possibility of loaning 4 bicycles.
This single-storey Holiday cottage comprises a living room with a sitting area (sofas and TV), a wood-burning stove (wood supplied) and a fully-equipped fitted kitchen and dining table. A first bedroom with two 90cm beds that can be joined together to make a king-size bed, and a second bedroom with two 90cm single beds, each with its own storage space. A bathroom with a walk-in shower and washbasin. Separate WC with washbasin. The entrance hall features a laundry area with washing machine. Sheets and towels, cleaning service and firewood (1/2 stere of wood) are optional extras. Electric heating for the rest of the house. A large part of the grounds is fenced.

Excellent séjour
5/5Gîte spacieux confortable dans un site verdoyant au calme très bien situé pour randonner, se baigner dans les lacs à proximité ou visiter des sites et villages remarquables.
Malgré la température caniculaire le gîte reste frais .
Un grand merci aux propriétaires
très accueillants discrets et aux petits soins notamment à l occasion d un incident mécanique sur notre voiture.

4/5Le gîte est bien situé et l'accueil cordial. Un très joli bouquet de fleurs et des oeufs frais nous attendaient.
Le gîte est moderne et bien équipé, près d'un petit bois et entouré d'un grand jardin?
Petit point épicerie/pain/bar sympathique à proximité.
Belle balades dans la nature,Carcassonne et des châteaux sur éperons rocheux (Lastours) dans les environs.
Nous avons trouvé la literie inconfortable (avis personnel) et il était très dommage de ne pas pouvoir utiliser la belle terrasse en rentrant de balade, car elle est en plein soleil et le parasol est fixe et n'offre pas d'ombre.- Cleanliness 5/5

Randonnées en montagne noire
5/5C'est notre second séjour (hivernal) dans ce gite que nous apprécions beaucoup pour son calme et son confort. Le poele très performant permet de bien chauffer la maison l'hiver, qui est très bien équipée et moderne. La région est magnifique et on peut faire de belles promenades en partant à pied du gite. La propriétaire est très attentionnée. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir (peut-être l'été pour changer !).
